Near the city of Natal
You'll find Barra do Cunhaú about 80 km south of Natal and a 110 km north of João Pessoa, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. It's part of the community of Canguaretama, a small town that you'll easily find driving by the Motorway, the BR101.
Once in Canguaretama you might have some problems, because the local authorities didn't do to much to show you the way, but going towards the ocean, you should quite easily find an asphalt road in a rather good condition, that will lead you this beautiful beach over thirteen winding kilometers. |
